Bitumastic

Bitumastic Ad (Hebrew)

What is Bitumastic?

Bitumastic is made of the polymer modified bitumen, combined with hydrocarbon solvent, it can be applied as a coating on different metal construction materials, asphalt, brickwork and concrete for adhesive purposes and protection.

This single substance that can be applied with a gun, trowel or a spatula . It can be applied after the contents are cleared from the bottom of the can which contains Bitumastic.

Bitumastic can be used for different purposes like the sealing of the roofs and gaps on the roofs. It should be applied only after the surface is clean and free of all sorts of dirt and dust. The oil on the surface has to be dried before a fresh coat of Bitumastic is applied.

Before primer or sealant is applied Bitumastic needs to be applied in the adjacent sides of a building to protect the walls.

If before the application of Bitumastic , a surface is dirty and its difficult to remove the dirt then Bitukote bitumen primer has to be applied before the application of Bitumastic.

The advantages of Bitumastic

While it resists oxidation it is a completely single component that does not require any sort of mixing as to get the required product.

There are various reasons why Bitumastic is so popular. One of the reasons is Bitumastic’s tensile strength, resistance and mechanical properties. Apart from that, Bitumastic is known for its expansion and contraction properties which enable Bitumastic to be used on different surfaces. Bitumastic has high adhesive properties and a very strong and durable bond.

It is also very stable at the highest of high temperatures. While it resists oxidation it is a completely single component that does not require any sort of mixing as to get the required product. While it can be elongated, it is also known for its flexibility and durability which make it last longer than usual.

Uses of Bitumastic

While Bitumastic can be used to fill the gaps and fissures on the roofs, Bitumastic is also used to seal pipes, roof vents and service pipes. Bitumastic is also used around the opening points between roof flashing and the brickworks.

Bitumastic is equally useful in sealing the fissures on the asphalt walls and roofs. However Bitumastic can also be used on felt roofs due to the flexibility of the Bitumastic coating.

The adhesive really works wonders for attaching different joints of pipes better than anything else and avoids any sort of leakage that might be happening through the roofs. Hence it is a very useful component.
